About the New Econlib Design

Adam Smith
Adam Smith
July 7, 2003. Econlib now sports a new three-column Home Page design. The new three-column Home Page includes the latest headlines from Arnold Kling's web log, EconLog. The new format allows users to access quickly Econlib material that is updated more frequently than once a month.

No other features are changed. New books and articles are still released around the first Monday of each month, at which time a new Econlib News is mailed to our registrants.

If you have comments or questions about the new design, feel free to contact us at webmaster@econlib.org.

The cuneiform inscription in the logo is the earliest-known written appearance of the word "freedom" (amagi), or "liberty." It is taken from a clay document written about 2300 B.C. in the Sumerian city-state of Lagash.
