Jane Galt drew my attention to a new push to bury Lenin’s mummy. As usual in Russian politics, both sides are wrong. The economically sensible and morally beautiful choice would be to auction off Lenin’s corpse on eBay, and use the proceeds to pay down Russia’s national debt. I bet it would fetch millions. And there’s no finer way to hammer in the point that Communism is truly dead.

Cremate him. Dissolve the ashes in acid. Flush the mess down a nearby toilet. Televise the whole process.
Anything else risks leaving remains that could become the relics of a cult.

Arnold, Communism was doing just fine until Lenin got involved with Yoko Ono. She totally ruined a good thing.

At the risk of sounding obsequious, I have to say that you chaps are in cracking form at the moment.
