I was busy all Friday with my conference and forgot to post my latest Friday night video. So this is a Saturday morning video. It was my debate on health care with Ted Marmor. If you think I was too hyper about keeping track of time, know that there was a good reason.
Here it is:
By the way, when I was on the NY subway Thursday morning, I noticed a young woman smiling at me. She came up and reminded me that I had given a talk to her Oberlin philosophy class and that she had attended the debate. She volunteered that I did a better job than Ted, even though she didn’t agree with me on ObamaCare.

When Marmor was floundering after the moderator asked the excellent question about food–and he could have included clothing and shelter–you should have demolished his entire argument with something like; ‘Do you think that if we financed our meals with insurance policies, we’d eat better/more cheaply?’

Is this the first time a young woman has smiled at you after an economic debate? 😉

The first time when there was a lag of 4 months. 🙂
